That's a regular problem, Jim.

Usually when we're having a good time on full or nearly full server and then everyone gets kicked off and can't get back in Evil or Very Mad

EA - nothing changes. Erroneous Add infinitum

Just did that, too - and fried one of the voltage regulator chips on my X1950XTX

Don't know if it still works, I slapped my back-up Radeon v9550 in there for now. Luckily it's only my motorsport PC, so doesn't need huge performance.

It was down to those really crappy new 4-piece VRM heatsinks that accelero have sunk to. I got the S2 for my 4870 and when I saw how c**p the VRM coolers were, I put the one from my VF900 on it instead - doing a top job it is, too.

That meant I had to use the Accelero ones on the X1950 - and they really really suck. How the hell can they justify going from an excellent one-piece, screw-down copper bar to a sh**e 4-piece, sticky-pads-that-don't piece of c**p?

Should have put the default cooler back on instead Crying or Very sad
